The grid connection outlives the power plant.

We develop battery storage and solar projects on the sites of retiring coal and gas power plants, together with their owners, using the grid connection that is already there.

Insight

New projects wait years for grid access. Retiring plants already have it.

As coal and gas plants close, they leave behind industrial land and a high-capacity connection to the grid. That is exactly what new energy projects lack. We give it a second life.

Approach

Partnership, not acquisition.

We do not buy power plants. We partner with the owners and take the project from idea to ready-to-build.

  1. 01

    The owner contributes

The site and the grid connection, in exchange for a share in the new project.

  2. 02

    We develop

Design, permits, grid studies, funding and financing.

  3. 03

    Ready to build

A finished project for energy funds and power producers.

Plant owners

Give your site a second life.

Your land and grid connection become the foundation of a new project: a possible new revenue stream for you, and a partner who carries the development. You keep a share in the project.

Submit your site for assessment.

Own a coal or gas plant that is closing or running at low capacity? Tell us about the site. The assessment is free and non-binding.

  1. 01

    Submit your site

A few basic facts about the plant, the land and the grid connection.

  2. 02

    We assess it

We look at the grid connection, the land and the regulatory conditions, and get back to you.

  3. 03

    Partnership proposal

If the site is suitable, we propose a partnership: a possible new revenue stream for you, and a partner who carries the development.
